| Underclassman gives two sports a "shot" |

(WTNH) _ The UConn Track and Field team is getting ready for the NCAA's. It's been a great year for the Huskies. And with a young squad, the future looks bright too.
One underclassman worth watching is hockey player Dominique Thibault. That's right -- she's a two sport star. Just a sophomore, Thibault was this year's Hockey East Player of the Year. And, when hockey was done, she joined the indoor track team. The Canadian native throws the shotput and throws it well. Her goal is to be able to represent her country one day in both sports. Thibault already has International experience. In January, she won a gold medal with Canada's under 21 hockey team.
