Greensboro, N.C. (AP) -- The UConn women are one win away from reaching the Final Four. But a familiar foe is standing in their way.
The top-seeded Huskies play Big East rival Rutgers tonight in the Greensboro regional final. The winners moves on to Tampa and the Final Four. The Scarlet Knights were the only team to beat UConn in the regular season. The Huskies avenged that loss with a win at home that clinched the regular-season Big East title. UConn's last trip to the Final Four was in 2004. This squad's senior class are trying to get there for the first time. |
