STORRS, Conn. (AP) -- Connecticut basketball coach Jim Calhoun plans to be back on the sidelines tomorrow when the Huskies host Big East rival Providence.

Calhoun has not coached since the first half of the January 8th win over St. John's because of illness.

He says he has been suffering from a gastric problem, something that has plagued him since a stomach operation as a young man. He has lost over 8 pounds over the last week and says he's had nothing heavier to eat than a banana in the last week.

With their coach back, the Huskies (11-4, 2-2 Big East) enter a critical stretch of their season. Over the next month, UConn plays No. 13 Marquette, No. 9 Indiana, and No. 15 Pittsburgh. The Huskies also will have Big East battles with Providence, Cincinnati, Louisville, Syracuse and Notre Dame and an out-of-conference matchup with Georgia Tech.

You can watch the game on MyTV 9 beginning at 7 p.m. plus all the highlights and post-game reaction on News Channel 8 at 10 and 11 p.m.
