New York (AP) _ There's no change in the top three of the latest Associated Press women's college basketball poll.
Tennessee, Connecticut and Maryland remain first, second and third. The Lady Vols were again the unanimous choice for Number One, receiving all 50 first-place votes, and they received 56 more total points than the Huskies. No team was celebrating the newest poll more than the cowgirls of Wyoming, who weighed in at Number 25 for their first ranking in school history. The Huskies ran through the Paradise Jam tournament, beating Stanford, Old Dominion and Duke. Connecticut gained eight second-place votes. |
