Cincinnati (AP) _ After consecutive losses knocked Cincinnati out of the national rankings and shook its confidence, the Bearcats got back to what they do best. Last month, they reversed their season by forcing six turnovers while beating South Florida.
The question is whether Cincinnati can keep it up tomorrow against a team that hardly ever gives up the ball. Number 16 Connecticut has lost the ball only 10 times. Quarterback Tyler Lorenzen has thrown only four interceptions, tied for second-fewest in the nation. The lack of fumbles and unfortunate passes is a big reason the Huskies are the last unbeaten team in Big East play at 4-0. |
