The Bucks have made qualifying offers to restricted free agent guard Ramon Sessions and forward Ersan Ilyasova, but won't make an offer to former UConn forward Charlie Villanueva, allowing one of their top scorers from last season to become an unrestricted free agent. With a mid-level exception at their disposal, the Cavaliers are expected to have interest in signing Villanueva. The interest sounds mutual. Villanueva posted Sunday on Twitter that "Cleveland fans are showing me mad love on Twitter, appreciate the love."

Notre Dame women's soccer senior forward Kerri Hanks, the two-time BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year, has been named the Missouri Athletic Club (M.A.C.) Hermann Trophy Award winner. The award is the highest individual honor in intercollegiate soccer. Hanks is the fifth BIG EAST women's soccer player to earn national player of the year honors and the first BIG EAST women's soccer player to earn repeat honors as she took home the award as a sophomore in 2006. She was the first sophomore to win the award.

St. John's Headed to the Men's Soccer College Cup

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – St. John's is returning to the NCAA Division I College Cup for the first time since 2003 and for the fourth time overall. The third-seeded Red Storm will face second-seeded Maryland in a semifinal game at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, Texas, on Dec. 12. The game will be aired on ESPN2 and ESPNU and will kick off at 8 p.m. ET. The St. John's game will follow the first semifinal between Wake Forest and North Carolina.

The Notre Dame women's soccer team (26-1-0) lost to North Carolina (25-1-2) by the score of 2-1 in the Division I women's soccer national championship at a chilly and windy WakeMed Soccer Park. Tar Heels junior forward Casey Nogueira scored both goals for the Tar Heels and was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Offensive Player.

Notre Dame (26-0-0, 11-0-0 BIG EAST) is the nation's only unbeaten and untied team and is riding a school-best 26-game winning streak. The Irish will face North Carolina (24-1-2, 9-0-1 ACC) in the title game of the NCAA Championship on Dec. 7 at 2 p.m. ET in the Division I College Cup held at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C. The teams met earlier this season in Chapel Hill, N.C., with the Irish handing North Carolina its only loss of the year, 1-0. Notre Dame has won two of the last three meetings between the clubs.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Five BIG EAST men's soccer teams earned berths into the NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship field of 48. The BIG EAST has three top 12 seeds for the third time since the NCAA began naming 16 top seeds in the bracket in 2003.
