PITTSBURGH, Pa. (Thursday, May 15, 2008) - Freshman Mike Olt (Branford, Conn.) recorded his 11th homerun of the season as the University of Connecticut baseball team defeated Pittsburgh 14-10 in BIG EAST action on Thursday night at Trees Field.

(Thursday, May 15, 2008) - Senior Tamara Highsmith (East Haven, Conn.), who recorded a new school record with a mark of 13.44 meters (44-01.25) in the triple jump at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championship, will look to lead the University of Connecticut women's track and field team at the 2008 Outdoor ECAC Championship at Princeton this weekend.
